A big point missing is that Aakash was also aiming to take a bite in online education market. It was already offering quality content and videos online by the end of 2019 and Aakash itutor had started even before anyone had thought of any such thing as online education in India. It had received half a billion dollar of funding in 2019 from the American education giant Blackstone. The investment from blackstone not just meant more funding and liquidity, but with it, there also came the much needed technological know-how for online education. It had also did a marketing campaign in 2018, 2019, and 2020, to specially promote online education. Remember that ad, "Padne Waale bande, kaise bhi padte hai." ? It had brought Meritnation as well in 2019 to increase its outreach to the online students. So Byju's didn't just got offline classrooms in exchange for buying Aakash, which were in truth running in loss in most of the states.

Blackstone is not an American Education Giant. Sorry for the misinformation.

1 big point missing is that Aakash was a digital institute since 2015 which was fully online, the distant program was very similar to Byju's.

The only advantage Byju's will get it onboarding the traditional institutes who prefer classroom to fully digital mode which will spread by word of mouth and as results start coming out, it might become the preferred way since people won't have to leave their hometown and go to Kota, which is a deal breaker for many.

Plus Byju's gets the top notch educators for NEET and JEE which might result an improvement in their existing material.

They can retain these Aakash faculties by utilizing the funding.

Didn't know that Aakash also had a digital program, thanks for sharing!

Yeah these are also some of the ways in which Byju's could benefit from the Aakash acquisition. I only focused on the benefits that Byju's would get from omnichannel education. Thanks for sharing these points!!
